82-20, ranked in the Top 10 since Nov, 2010, 7+ yrs of teams nationally ranked at #5, #3, #1, #17, #8, #2, and currently BCS #7, the most wins in BCS football since 2005, and 2 BCSCG appearences in the last 5 yrs.

Please, please, please....let that kinda "insanity" rock my LSU football world for another 7 yrs.

Oh really? LSU ran the ball 49 times for 139 yards that's 2.8 yards per rush. You won't beat anyone running the ball like that. On the flip side LSU averaged 11.8 yards a completion. Regardless of what piece of the game you want to disput there's no disputing that coaching IS WHAT COST LSU the game against Alabama.

would you trade those close to the vest victories for a few more losses if it gave LSU an opportunity for BCS title every few years?

Maybe I dreamed it, but isn't that where we are now? Didn't we compete for the title last year? Maybe you should have posted "competing for the BCS title EVERY year" ... then your rant might make sense.

Our success rate was close to 100% all night long.

Really ... were we that good on 3rd down? Could have sworn I saw Wing punt several times.

I just hope our coach learns what it takes to win again.

Damn it, you're right. Miles has no idea how to win a game. I can't stand being winless every year ... it's time for him to go.

BTW ... we have really dumb fans.

If you look at LSU's last 2 possessions in regulation with the opportunity for victory staring them in the face and the lead what does he do? Runs up the middle for loss or very little gain with game on the line EVERY TIME ..... WTF?

Its called running out the clock. Watch more football and you will realize you see this tactic being done in nearly every game on Saturday and Sunday.

I don't have as much of a problem with him running up the middle to run down the clock. I have a problem with him wasting the 4th and 1 on a Warecat with 11 Gumps in the box. Hill gets that yard with any kind of defensive spread (no 11 in the box)...8/10 times.

This!

Just run the play straight up and power ahead for the 1st down, or run Ford around the outside.

Well, this is a new one - Miles is arrogant and stubborn. That certainly explains everything, and I mean everything. What a great insight! I'm surprised ESPN or SI didn't do an expose on this situation.Everything that doesn't go right is because he's arrogant? Some people have to demonstrate their ignorance by opening their mouth. Go back to bed.

The coaching staff put together a solid gameplan, and the offense and defense responded and played well. What really killed us, and lost the game, in my opinion, was the prevent defense on the final drive (duh!!) Chavis it one of the best things to happen to LSU football, but this is what he was roundly criticized for at UT

Miles Arrogance? Fool. He the only one that is making us competitive and in the fricking hunt year after year. We got a QB and have turned a corner. It's on now.

Every one has to believe him, because after all he is a DR. Right Oh & one of the other ranters is correct, Chief was also highly criticized for the prevent at Tenn.

There is not a coach in the country who would not accept a scenario BEFORE the game started against the number 1 team in the country that had his team in the lead with 2 minutes to go. And that is exactly where Les had them!

Running up the middle was working. We were getting a solid 3-5 yards each run.

bad call on a 4 and 1 when you bring a player in that is obvious to run up the middle.
also, when the other team has THE FIELD to protect, it is easier than when they only have 1 yard.
bad call

We didn't lose because he ran up the middle, we lost because we decided to play soft coverage in the last 2 minutes of each half.

on this you are correct, this was actually 90 % of the loss IMO, we were still ahead with a min to go.

Chavis used to be criticized for this at TENN and the reason why they wanted him gone..he would do this against FL and lose almost every year.
...we started playing to not lose instead of to win,....and we lost

Dr, these people are the same ones that were crying Saturday night after LSU lost because they don't understand why? They are ignorant football fans who don't get the big picture. These same fans feel that he did everything in his power to win the NC game last year as well. They don't get it. They dont understand that LSU has NC talent every year and continue to come up short. If LSU moves the ball at all vs Fla, Tigers win. Whose fault is it we did not open it up? Players? No!! When you win every stat imaginable (meaning players did what they needed to do) and still lose....who's fault is that? Players? No...someone explain to me please, who is at fault for these last 3 LSU losses????

Nope. I've never met Obama either and I think he is an underachiever as well. What's your point?
