the problem is yall usually can't have a discussion about legitimate questions about his flaws w/o responding with his career record or provide a list of candidates that can do better, even if the discussion isn't about firing miles.

I'll discuss anything with anyone that isn't clearly trolling or just an idiot that can't have thoughts more lucid than "Miles is stoopid".

The only time I bring up Miles' record is when people misrepresent the kind of program he took over or distort Saban's tenure here with his success at Alabama to make Miles' successes seem less stellar than they are.

Most of us are actually pretty rational. I think it's the more rational position to not make assumptions, which the negatiger argument is dependent upon.

We absolutely have our share of idiots too. Particularly the morons that constantly bring up UAB or ULM to belittle Saban's coaching resume. Seriously positigers, that is embarassing and idiotic. Please stop or change sides.

I will say, though, that bringing up one's success when discussing their flaws is not necessarily irrelevant.

Does Miles have flaws. Without question. What coach or person doesn't? But being able to succeed despite one's own flaws is pretty desirable trait, no?

Wait...you're concerned about someone misrepresenting the OP's comments after he dropped this little gem?

It's easy to search this forum. He is free to go find anyone even remotely suggesting that Miles and only Miles could run this program. Not even those of us who have been open about supporting Miles (the horror I know) have ever said anything remotely like that.

That's the very definition of misrepresentation.

I don't. I don't consider myself a negatiger either. I will respond accordingly though.

Aside from the fire miles stuff I think most of us just want him to improve in areas....i don't see that as a negative.

\no, that is a strawman argument. The claim is there are people who can do the same, and some who can do better.

Glad to see you too are intellectually dishonest.

Honestly, I don't even think he read the original post. Has contributed nothing of value to oppose the OP view. Though I haven't either, I take pride in being a lurker and watching this type of shite blow up in idiot's faces

The ASSUMPTION.

And I'm sorry if you feel I'm being intellectually dishonest, but when so many of the "critiques" of Miles usually include adjectives like stupid, idiot, clown, moron, and "needs to buy a watch", I think it's pretty safe to say many of you aren't just holding out for the next great football mind to take the program to the next level.

It seems a lot closer to ANYONE could do it and Miles is holding us back, than MAYBE one or two diamonds in the rough could improve upon the great things Miles has done for the program, no?

Now, would you care to show some intellectual honesty and share which you actually believe?

My thoughts are pretty clear, and honest.

See Tennessee. You could easily end up with Derek Dooley at the end of the gamble and have your program set back years.

If you have to lie to defend Miles, then in your heart you know LSU is not in good shape

First) Fulmer hadnt been to a BCS bowl in 9 years

Secondly) Fulmer didnt qualify for a bowl in 2 of his last 4 years

Thirdly) Kiffin won more games in his first year replacing Fulmer, than Fulmer did in his last year

Lastly) Tenn ended up with Dooley because of Kiffin. We see what a pos he turned out to be

Your example really only justifies the questioning of Miles. Tenn got in trouble by hanging on too long, not moving too quickly.

Does LSU need to wait for the year that we dont qualify for a bowl before we move on, like Tenn did? Thats why you end up with a Dooley.

Miles dated Mich, and Ark all the while making top money here. His agent was the one that made this bed of unrealistic expectations. Miles now has to lie in a situation of his own making

I'm pretty sure no one has ever said this.

But I've heard plenty of people say "ANYONE CAN DO WHAT MILES HAS DONE." That's the far more idiotic comment.

Oh and go suck on an exhaust pipe.
