know there was some info on when and from where Mike VII would be on board but I'm an old fart and have forgotten what the info was...somebody please fill me in...thanx

They're upgrading Mike's habitat while searching for the new Mike. The plan was to have him in place hopefully for August.

Is that the levy and River Road in the background? Are they moving it or is that just a random picture.

^ This. They have to finish his habitat renovations for it to be accredited first, and they hope/expect to have him by start of fall semester (so, late August).

They could still get the new tiger and tie him up outside Tiger Stadium while the cage is being renovated.
