Should have hired Gundy! Nope, TCU took care of that.

Are you saying that once someone loses a game, they're no longer a viable coaching candidate? If that were the case, I wish we had eliminated O as a candidate after that Florida game last year.

No I personally never liked herman. I live in the Houston area and I think herman is a arrogant D-licker

I don't think Leach would ever win a championship here, but he'd I'd rather roll the dice with him than with the WORST COACH IN OLE MISS HISTORY.

Just hire a great coordinator right? That line of thought seemed to work great for the hiring of O so why not have a good HC on top of good coordinators?

He seems better suited where winning 8 games is a good season

My feeling as well. But, again, I'd take him over O every day of the week.

Moscona lives in a fantasy land most of the time....and this is one of those times.

While I'm a Leach fan, I would bet the house that this did not happen. Leach is not going to come to a place where his boss does not have his back. A lot of head coaches around the country did not like the way that the whole Les Miles thing was handled by Alleva last season

Oh my gosh USC if so damn good. They had over 7 starters injured. Leach knows nothing about defense.

What does Coach O know about defense?

It is, but you don't have to take from the bottom of the barrel.

In what world can people shoot down names like this in favor of Ed Orgeron?

Coach O begged Syracuse for an interview and they declined

No doubt and their current head coach is way better than O. The point is Leach has a history of begging for jobs at bigger schools and being turned down. I have been adamantly opposed to Mike Leach at LSU in the past but at this point: frick it. Maybe a pirate who does the weather is just what we need?

Mike Leach's coaching tree is a great big fricking sequoia. He's forgotten more about offense than Canada knows. He's 5 times the coach O is. We need to buy out O and hire a good, young up and comer on the cheap. Scott Frost, Brohm, Fleck, Etc
