Why do people post things that just aren't true or make sense?

jj was the toughest running qb since......hatch aside......marcus randall.

to be honest, he was not really a running qb when he started at LSU. he developed a lot and became a very effective, tough runner. he had heart and that. i don't think you take that away from him. he may not have been very good or effective, but he did play hard.

...when you compare draft outcome, salary and number of carries so far in the pre-season, it seems the NFL is much higher on Ridley at the moment. Obviously Les blew this one by sitting Ridley in 09. Hard to say if it was senior-bias, dog house, pet player or bbq...but something must have been up.

the NFL that immediately moved Jacob Hester to fullback and gave him 66 carries in 3 years?

True LSU fans don't pay attention nor think critically about sports and life in general. Those things are overrated.

I think Jordan's suspension will take most of his touches. The reason being is most of his touches were going to come on the option play which will probably no longer be ran.

Any other playbook secrets you care to divulge there Krags?

Ford is a great runner, and if I recall notorious in high school for being a power guy. For one reason or another, he's been less so since getting here, but maybe it's simply that even with his strength at his size (205-210) versus our other backs like Ware and Ridley were.

It's likely a style thing. I am not a huge Les fan, but outside of 2009 and early 2006, we've always had a very good running game under him, so I trust him.
