AP mid season all American list

How the hell is Devin White not on first or second team?

I admit that I don't watch every college game but are there really 6 better linebackers in the country?

I have a feeling he'll be on there by the end of the season.

Didnt look at the list, but I'd bet my arse off that one of the 2 lbs from the SEC go to a school that has an elephant as a mascot.

He has 18 more tackles than anyone in the SEC and is tied for 3rd in the country with 77.

Insane that the top tackler is a guy from San Jose State with 115..that's a 16.5 avg per game.

Looking at the scores of their games, their defense is probably on the field 75% of the game.

Raquon Smith UGA is on the 1st team

Josh Allen UK is the 2nd team.

But no Devin White.

Lame list.

That list somehow includes Carlton Davis from Auburn, who Chark tied in knots all day Saturday.

Seems to be focused on players on teams who WERE higher in the rankings. Probably directionally correct, but D White is a clear oversight.

Here's a better way to explain it. If you were in a dark alley, would you rather have Smith, jewell, or devin White chasing you. I would take my chances with the other 2

Imagine that....a QB who Miles wouldn't accept his commit is on the list.

Really hate seeing so many Sooners on that list. There are even a couple from Okie State. Seems biased

Don't get too upset. Many of the people who make these list are incredibly lazy. Their criteria generally is:

1. Who are the best teams?

2. Who are the best players on the best teams?

3. Is there anyone on some less relevant school who stands out so I can sound really smart?

White and LSU are in a bit of "no mans land" at the moment. Until last weekend, LSU was relevant for all the wrong reasons. However, they aren't so obscure that picking a player from their team makes the writer look smarter than the average fan.

The kid from Iowa is the only one who has stats close to White. He deserves to be listed. The rest are players from top 10 teams (UGA, Clemson, Oklahoma) and schools that are generally pretty irrelevant but having "good" years (Kentucky, Virginia)

White gets left off because LSU is up to this point having a "disappointing" year

We have zero players on that list and we are five and two losses the Mississippi State and Troy. We are stuck in the middle once again.

Here's another good way too... if you were getting chased down the same dark alley and you could choose one of White or those other two guys to fight alongside you when you turn and make a stand? It's no contest.

It's very clear that the AA squad is becoming as much a popularity contest as the Heisman. And yes, I'm still pissed that LF7 got snubbed and looked over for Henry. The whole world not wearing crimson glasses knows that LF7 was the exceptionally better player. I guess the NFL knows now, too. By the way, where does Henry play now anyway?*

*rhetorical question. I know the answer.

In a thread to mock the list, you make a post about the list to discredit our ex head coach.
