Ford did have a good game, and it wouldn't bother me if he started. Not sure it really matters though. After watching Mile's RB by committee for all these years now, there's for a sure a method to his madness of running fresh legs.

I was soooo pumped about Ford when we signed him, but I am sorry I think Ware is the better back. I want both to split carries but Ware is better at getting that little extra out of each carry and has great hands can block with the best of them.

I like the two back rotation for a change of pace.

I have posted this almost exact thing about a dozen times in the past year.

I know Michael Ford personally - watched him play four years at my hometown. Was really pumped when he went to LSU.

But I am convinced Ware is the better Running Back - he can do things Ford can't - or won't. Pass blocking is the primary reason, I think, why his touches are limited as much as they are.

It pained me to see him miss a couple of blocks last night - almost got Lee smeared on one of them - and I do believe the pass would have been complete had Lee not had a DLB crushing him as he let go.

Ford missed couple of blocks yes, first "big" run he ran up the Olinemans back while the hole was open, then hit the hole

so give it a rest with the this guy should be #1, LSU is a TEAM. Whoever plays the TEAM has faith in them, why can't fans?

Was going to make the same points, so now I'll just....

Ware wears the D down and Ford make them pay when they are tired. It's perfect like it is. You had two back almost rush for 100 yards a piece, why the hell would you change anything?

LSU fanbase. We are the greatest in the world, but there is a portion, a very vocal portion, that is absolutely insane. This same fan base had some people posting that losing our starting LG with 23 consecutive starts was a good thing because the backups were better. The same fan base that has already penciled in losses to "any SEC defense that can stop the run" after we just beat the #3 team in the country. The same fan base that wants to change up a RB rotation that rushed for almost 200 yds last night.

I think 42 ran very well with his carries last night. I hope the pass protection improves, as from what I have been told he is going to be the starter sooner rather than later.
