Yikes, man. You still mad about that thread on giving money to free loaders?
Anyway, I guess this was just in the front of my mind since a friend and I were talking about the difference btw 'could' and 'couldn't' care less.
Relax though. Mettenberger's going to do fine.

Okay. I'll stop being a dick.

I don't see how they could put him much higher with zero experience. That being said, I think he'll end up being thought of much higher than that.

Agreed. I just don't care to hear what those two have to say about college football. The shite they write about is so obvious.

He was the best QB on the team last year, but Miles had a thing for Jefferson as everyone knows.

he'll throw more than that.
LSU will average between 25 and 28 passing attempts per game in 2012.
(...I hope...)

Some people forget this, but he made some great throws, not just dump-offs
Looked like they practiced smash routes from mid-Nov to Jan and the D didn't really have an answer to stop it.

What did they rank JJ at last year? Enough said.

Reasonable list other than McCarron being #4. I guess considering he has a year starting experience, it will suffice.
MVP of a national championship game will take you a long way.

You mean you couldn't care less.

Lots of screen passes and dumpoffs to richardson and lacy went for alot of yards too.
No more than any other good QB. When you make a dump pass to your stud RB when you've gone through all of your reads, you've made a good decision.

No secret Miles loved him so JJ!!!

Empty award.
Kid dumped most of the game and made one or two decent throws. Big deal.
As people have said. He's an alright QB. Nothing more, nothing less. Bama fans will prop him up as the best thing in the history of the world as they tend to do (even with their 3rd string deep snapper), but it is what it is.
He fits Saban's scheme. That's about all he's good for..

all of AJs passes to the RBs were beacuse he went through all his reads and couldnt find an open receiver
you really dont think AJ threw to his RBs more than most SEC QBs?

Not all, but many.

I'm not sure, but if you'd like to provide some kind of stat or evidence backing this up, please do. Even if, it was usually a smart read when he did do it. And no one is propping him up to be Peyton Manning, we just think he is good, because he is.

UGAs top 3 RBs caught for a combined 140 yds
LSUs top 3 RBs caught for a combined 96 yds
Eddie Lacy alone caught for 131 yds
Richardson for 338 yds

Well, like I said, it was usually the right decision, as made apparent by those stats

Yeah, because even during the NFL Draft, they were saying that those guys didn't have elite speed.
Keep beating your drum though. It's entertaining to watch you guys believe that you're invincible.
