Herbie had never liked LSU even when he says he
does. Remember the rumor started about Les going
to Michigan right before the SEC championship game
against Tenn. Who announced this on ESPN? I think
he may still be feeling the pain from when LSU beat
the living snot out of his beloved "Buckeyes"! The "Talking Heads" on ESPN can't stand the SEC's dominance the last
few years, USC this, FSU this, OLK this, etc. If the rest
of the football nations, outside of the SEC, wants to be in the
big game then beat us!!! Looking for another SEC team to win it all this year and dearly hope it's our tigers. The "Talking Heads" will have to wait at least at least another year!!!

I met herbie the Friday afternoon before 96 bama. Thought he was extremely cool. Asked me where to party. Gave me props for traveling from Georgia. And I quote, "man, there is a lot of ****y down here". Couldn't have been nicer to me and my buddy. FWIW, I fking hate Espn!

I met Herbie after gameday for the 96 bama game(golfballs got thrown at Corso). he asked me what bars were cool around campus. I told him head to Murphys. he did. I imagine Herbie got plenty of wool in Tallahassee back during FSU's run.

They fly first class. My husband recently sat next to Desmond Howard on a flight to Oregon. Desmond noticed his LSU tag on his briefcase and started talking to him. It was the morning when the news broke that Honey Badger was kicked off the team. I texted my husband the news and when he turned on his phone after a long flight, he showed Desmond my text. Desmond didn't believe it until he started looking at his twitter account.
