Current design in better and INEC. If I have to choose, I'd go with option 1. The purple contrast looks much better.

Current court is by far 10000000x better than yours.

the current court looks so lame on TV. Either the lighting needs to be re-evaluated, or they need to add some contrast with some gold. I too don't like the multi shaded wood.

I like your second better than your first, but I have some suggestions:

- sidelines, baselines, halfcourt, and three-point lines should be purple. Contrast is good for these precision lines. Purple paint shows up batter on hardwood and against mostly white shoes. Keep the lane and key lines white.

- SEC logo should be more subtle. In the gold lane, I'd prefer the SEC circle to be white, and the letters S-E-C to be gold.

I've never liked this fad except with the Pelicans.

Could we not just put the damn cox symbol outside the lines "out of bounds". Hopefully they won't be able to afford the sponsorship in a few years.

#1 (with a few comments)

A. I like the gold border rather than the current purple border. It really stands out like the Lakers' and Warriors' courts.

B. I wouldn't do the eye of the Tiger (i think that is exclusive to football anyway). I would do the new tiger face at center court (like the one on the uniform shorts). I also would make the center court logo smaller. I'm not a fan of the huge center court logos. I think courts like the Celtics and 76ers have the center logo right.

To be fair, the new court is ok. Much better than the previous one. I'm just not a big fan of the huge double logo; two-tone wood, and no actual paint in "the paint"

Agree with all of your points.

That's what I was going for... Lakers and Warriors style.

I put the eye logo but also like the new tiger logo. And I may have made the center logo a little big.

Do a gold border with purple key and do the eye at mid court in the state of Louisiana.

The reason the lane was called "the paint" was because it was painted so it wouldn't get scuffed up. We didn't rebound, block out or challenge any shots in the "paint" this year. And the "paint" area was one of the few unpainted parts of the court. Actually painting the paint purple is a good idea.

However we also didn't challenge any shots from the perimeter.

I'm all for the eye of the tiger at center court. The color is more intimidating. Heck, make it a bit bigger. Leave the baselines purple.

I like the current court....
I think most everything LSU does in "these areas" first class!
However, I'm a little disappointed in the new BB unis....maybe I just have to get used to it...

Nice job on the designs. But I like our current design better. If I could change anything, I'd only brighten up the PMAC a bit. I've always thought it was a bit dark. Even going back to my days in Bengali Brass when Brady was coach.

not unless you want to get rid of the steady flow of sponsorship cash that they provide, too.
