Now Tiger Red...that was a real dedicated LSU fan.

Tiger Bait...Tiger Bait

In case you haven't figured it out by now, K and Chris are all about themselves...

Why is there so much disdain and venim towards the K-Lady? Yea, she is kind of a drama queen, but does all seem in good fun.She might be on the annoying side, but the amount of just flat out disgust is surprising.

I think because she seems to make what she does more about her than about the team. She gives off an air of entitlement, that she considers herself above you and me "normal" fans.

I've only had one personal experience with her and it made me really dislike her:
This was a few years back at the SEC tournament, my dad and I were sitting on the first row of the blue-backed General Admission seats, we'd gotten there early, gotten the seats that we wanted and were taking it easy watching the game. Apparently though, the seats that we had chosen were where she wanted to put up all of her K's. Now, that's fine, certainly didn't bother me, but when she looked back and saw that we had our feet up on the blue railing near - not on mind you, but near - her K's, she didn't ask us nicely to be careful, she didn't explain that she was worried that we would hurt them, she ran up there and bitched at us as though we were taking them down and flinging them around.
My father and I were not young men, not a couple of teenagers getting into trouble, I was in my 30's and my dad was in his late 50's. We were minding our business and watching the game but apparently our seats (which we got there early to get) were not completely ours, we needed to get out of her way because she was entitled to the space.

That exchange really drove home to me all of the stories that you hear about her and her sense of entitlement. I do not like her at all.

Now I like Chris, yes, what he does draws attention to himself but I believe that he does it more as a cheerleader, to get the crowd into it, and I like the atmosphere that it generates.

Plus, he was really nice to my daughter last night at the game. (have you ever heard someone say that about the K lady?)

I think people need to get a clue as to when their schtick is played out. Someone who believes it is necessary to hang Ks for EVERY strike out in EVERY game no matter what, clearly is. At least in my mind.

I don't know that I "hate" anyone. I just find the whole thing terribly tired.

My family always sat right next to Chris in the old box.

I caught a foul ball early in a game and a few innings later Chris got engaged to his lady. I gave him that ball because it was from the game he got engaged. I wonder if he still has that ball.

maybe I thought it was a cooler gift than it was

Chris is OK. He doesn't bother me at all.

K-lady is the fan equivalent of nails on a chalkboard.

The camera crew has done a pretty great job at getting cameo's of some our "finest" fans

this living LSU baseball legend

Where does he rank on the all-time LSU hits list? He may well be a legendary fan but that doesn't earn him the title of baseball legend IMO.

Yeah, our seats at the old Box were near the K lady & she thought she owned the damn place. She was always telling people what they could & couldn't do. A couple of times I've seen her demand to see people's tickets to make sure they were where they were supposed to be-not even someone sitting in her seats, acting like she was the frickin' seat nazi. It's all about her & she jumps at any chance to talk about her importance to the team.

As for the K lady, I once passed her riding her bike & blew the chance to make road kill out of her.

How could you miss?

I'm not as dedicated as Anita. I've been to 3 or 4 games all season.

Can't be the K-Lady if you're not going to games.

I agree with other posts that it should be a younger, nicer more attractive person doing the K thing.
