While some of you will continue to bash the coach and players can we at least acknowledge that we took a step forward this year? Did anyone really think we were making the tournament this year? Can we get a real discussion on what the outlook of next years squad could look like?

Losing to UNT in the first round of the NIT is not a step in the right direction. Goddamn, you people love moral victories

Would you like to be the first to tell me what McMahon does well as a coach?

I've been asking all season and have not received a single serious response.

At least the losers are admitting that they're just trolling because they hate LSU.

The team needs an infusions of talent next year, especially guards.

I think the team did some nice things this year. I also think it’s fair to say that there are still some concerning trends that reared their head over the last few games of the season.

I hope he is able to have success in the portal because there is going to be A LOT of production to replace.

I was fine until tonight. MM and his boys just set LSU basketball back a few with this loss.

Who wouldn't be happy with this lengthy postseason run?

CWW took over a program that lost 23 games last year, retooled it, and is in the tournament. LOL at McMahon.

It’s what you do to every coach not named Orgeron

Who exactly is going to make that happen?

More of the same lame excuses bash the previous coach accept mediocrity crap we got this year. The recruiting class is meh and he’s already getting beat in the portal. I’ll expect another .500 type year with the great prognosticators saying it takes a decade to build a program

They improved on a two win conference record. Super. He's not recruiting at a level that will compete against the top teams in the SEC. He'll sign a few sub par transfers and they will suck again next year. That's the outlook.

This year absolutely was better than last year….. but what if this it’s the best he can give? the outstanding recruiting class that I see we have, leaves me highly optimistic.

I’d be inclined to agree if we built off the Kentucky win

We followed it up with
- A 20-point arse beating at home vs MSU
- A 1-point squeaker against a bad Georgia team at home
- 9-point loss to a bad Arkansas team
- A narrow victory against a Missouri team who hasn’t won in the year 2024
- Another double digit loss to MSU
- A loss at home to mid-major North Texas

Great shape

I don’t think he’s the guy.

I’m not even saying that’s his fault. LSU as an institution just doesn’t take men’s hoops seriously.
