Not looking good for Saturday. I'm told the decision has been made to postpone. Announcement coming soon.

The 12/22 game against VCU is also under threat but everyone is fighting like hell to keep it as scheduled

There must be a bad outbreak, i mean it was already bad to not see O'Neal/Watford (Watford was just hurt), but 3/4 coaches out too.

Are we sure this is Kung Flu related and not an under the table ncaa penalty? Odd LSU is suddenly getting smashed like this.

I thought the UNO game was banged due to issues on the UNO side?

not really surprising CWW was out, a couple kids were out, and now it looks like things had spread

BB is a really close knit group so not surprised at all at its spread.

Wade was confirmed positive with Covid. So think about it...it’s spread to the team more than likely.

I guess best to happen now rather in January. LSU will be ready to roll come conference play.

Welp it sounds like they are about to go into SEC play on a 2 week layoff. Not ideal.

I don't think that was ever determined. Obviously it was us.

This is impossible. I watched a game on tv and the team all sat on the sidelines with their chairs spread more than 6 feet apart. The coaches all wore masks during the game. The players did not shake hands after the game.

No way Covid spread after following those vital guidelines.

Good thing they’re all catching it now rather than during SEC play or in March

Covid spread in practice and in their apartments.

UNO played a game on Tuesday night so they didn't have problems.

Nah. It's the absurd "contact tracing" bullshite that is the cause of this. Just about every program in the country thus far has had to deal with the same thing or will at some point in the future. It's just LSU's turn. (For ex: Tennessee didn't start their season until appx. 3 weeks after all of the other SEC teams because of a "covid pause"). With only 13 scholarship players on a roster, contact tracing can wipe out a team with only one "closely related" positive.

You have to imagine Wade is going F'ing berserk as he can't get his team into any rhythm with SEC play about to start in 12 days

While the ongoing covid stupidity didn't really bother us in football because LSU was struggling. Wiping out large swaths of the basketball season will be infuriating because this group as the potential to be really, really good.

This may come as a surprise to you , but CBB teams have a thing called practice where teams divide into 2 groups, and play against each other. W/O any social distancing, & w/the coaches in your ear at times. No way huh ? I bet you weren't very good at hoops.
