As much as I can't stand Matt Moscona, Les Miles is our head coach so yeah...8-4 is possible

Yea so is going undefeated. If you are using your logic that because Les is our coach the best possibility is that they go 10-2 to 9-3.

I just don't get how people can say that LSU will have a worse record than last year with a year more experience and every team outside of Bama in the West has lost major contributors and have more questions than LSU.

It's all on Les on whether or not he will open the offense up or not

So foolish! The strategy last year was almost identical to the strategy Les used in 2011. That year we relied on a dominant defense that never broke and created turnovers, along with dominant special teams. Our offense was very run-centric behind an untalented but well-drilled offensive line, complimented by a vertical passing game that took advantage of defenses stacking the box.

The reasons we got worse results last year, than 2011's 13-0, are our dline was good but not great like 2011, we didn't have a Mathieu, our special teams were awful. We did have great running backs last year compared to good ones in 2011. But the strategy was the same.

so let me get this straight. we bring back practically the whole team from last year. we probably make big upgrade to coaching staff. we have a very good recruit class.we play ole piss and bama at home. miss state minus dak.all other teams we play bring back next to half of there team from last year and y'all think we lose 1 more game than last year?

Yeah, it's pretty ridiculous. I think people are intentionally lowering expectations to avoid disappointment. This team is freaking loaded, with senior leadership everywhere. And I'm not usually Mr. Positive.

I have hope just like eveyone else that we will finish at least 11-1 & and play in ATL twice this year...but why does everyone get so butthurt about others opinion as if its no way possible we can finish 8-4. We still have Les & Cam running the offense ya know...

There will be 2 or 3 games where our opponent will hold LF7 in check or slow him down and Miles/Cameron will actually have to do some real in-game coaching . Last year we were a 10-1 team and finished 9-3. We had no business losing to Arky and were talented enough to beat Ole Miss. Its just reality...

There's a HUGE difference between 9-3 and 10-2 IMO. One just looks so much better and could get us a New Years 6 bowl. At the very least I would settle for that and call it a good season, much like 2010-which I considered a great season (the win over Bama certainly helped).

8-4 makes absolutely no sense. Moscona is a complete and total moron

You guys act like this team is invincible.

Exactly. People just act like we came off of a 1 loss season or something. LSU has lost 3 games a year since the 2012 season. Including 5 one year.

I hope you skip Lebatard. How anybody listens to that crap is beyond me. I can't listen to them for more than about 5 seconds.
