Well JP did give up 4 dingers. I can't remember the last time another team hit 4 dingers

This joke is old and tired. He points out when a guy messes up and does not say anything that isn't said in the game thread.

He holds players accountable. I really don't see anything wrong with that. He also gives them credit when they deserve it. Baseball more than most sports is truly on the players. The head coach is called a manager for a reason. They manage each situation as they come but it is up to the player to execute.

Always Throwing Somebody Under The Bus, Instead Of His Admitting He Lets His Pitchers Drown Before He Takes Them Out.

Hold them accountable in the locker room, not in a press conference. Only one of them is paid a lot of money to take the heat.

You ever hear Skip rip into a player, especially a pitcher? His comments make CPM seem like a guidance counselor. It's a sports given: some players need their butts kicked, some need a hug, some need to be left alone. CPM knows his players better than anyone outside the program. If his rep is so bad, how does he continue to bring in top ranked recruiting classes?

This is not SEC play. Sometimes you need to see how pitchers respond.

Skip Bertman used to take the blame all the time. He would say it isn't your fault I shouldn't have recruited you.

Why don't you leave the coaching to the guy with the national championship ring on his finger which is damn sure not you!

False, not just saying this because Poche got rocked today but he has been in the program long enough for PM to recognize his limit is five innings, yet he continues to not have guys at least getting loose in the bullpen while approaching that impending hitting of the wall.
