They seem to be very together and a pretty dynamic offense. What a way to start the season next year with a very winnable schedule

And means nothing in the long run if you take care of business the rest of the season. LSU lost to them to start this season and were still up to #5 in the country going into the last game of the season.

And they have the better qb. That Travis kid is a stud, actually gives his receivers a chance

I'd be more worried about Purdue

With Polian ST unit any game is up for grabs

Because they beat a .500 Oklahoma team in a meaningless bowl game?

Their biggest win last year was LSU…on a blocked XP. They lost to everyone with a pulse in a terrible ACC. They will be a solid team next season. But I’m not quite ready to crown them just yet

Because they barely beat a bad Oklahoma team that was missing a bunch of players in a de facto home game? In context this was not a good performance

That bad ZeroU team put 500+ yards on the FSU D.

This feels just like the last two years where everyone on this board spent the whole offseason trashing our week 1 opponent only for us to get embarrassed in front of a huge national audience. I don't understand why you people are so hell-bent on convincing yourself that FSU sucks. They're a good team with a good coach.

Uh why did you respond to me with that. My point is they’re gonna be a very tough test to start

They should be a really good test in week 1. I’m just hopeful they don’t schedule a bull shite week 0 game again.

I didn't mean to address it to you specifically, it was just a general observation

He didn't say they were going to win the national championship. It's not like we had a bunch of impressive wins last year either. I don't understand why people are downplaying FSU like it won't be a tough game.

Nobody is saying they won’t be a pretty good to real good team but they have a lot of things up in the air that people are just assuming will automatically be fixed by the portal. That’s a risky business. We don’t have to try to convince ourselves they are better than they are in an attempt to preempt disappoint in case we lose. They might very well be great next year but in the actual context this was not an overly impressive performance tonight. And while I get what you are saying the last 2 years are meaningless for next years game.

Them beating LSU 4 months ago should have clued you in on that.

They have the better qb and are killing it in the portal. Going to be a battle.

It’s because everyone is melting tonight like they beat a good OU team instead of a 6-6 team.
