Does it bother anyone that the tickets are printed in Arkansas? Does Louisiana really not have a printing company to do this? JustCurious???
The company in Fort Smith, AR does this for dozens of college & professional teams each year.
Just glad LSU finally switched to FedEx & not the worthless UPS this year.

Got them in the mail this morning.
Not the strongest home schedule ever, but to see us beat Spurrier, Saban, and Ole Miss it will be well worth it.

Because LSU Athletics sucks from a customer service aspect as comparative to other universities and has for a long time. Most universities do not wait till the last minute and ship out tickets 1st and 2nd week of August. Except Auburn we are the absolute worst.

Seriously the ticket office continues to make everyone wonder if someone they contract will drop the ball and 50,000 fans don't get the tickets till the 4th game. Whats the reason they can't get these tickets printed and shipped by the 1st of August?
Blame the printing company, not the ticket office. First of all, season ticket holders have until May 31st to renew their tickets (and the ticket office usually gives a 2 week grace period after that anyway - you wouldn't believe how many people don't pay on time). They have to wait until at least most tickets are renewed so they can send the bulk order to the printing company. This way the printing company can put the account number and name of the season ticket holder on each booklet. The company is Weldon, Williams, and Lick - which some have mentioned correctly is in Fort Smith, AR. This company does season tickets for tons of colleges and pro teams across the country.
After the bulk order is submitted, WW&L doesn't send the tickets in to LSU to send out until the first week of August. LSU ticket office workers then spend the next two weeks working 12 hours a day to hand package each season ticket holder's packet to ensure accuracy.
Some of you bitch way too much without knowing the facts.

At least UPS sent a shipping notification.

They are being shipped FROM Arkansas this year.

Well that's news to me... didn't know that. They were really against that when I worked there because we couldn't check the tickets for accuracy prior to shipment... we had less control over the process. Guess it just became to overwhelming/time consuming.

Mine were sent from the ticket office...arrived today, but short a parking pass

You might get that separately, depending on the pass. I know that passes ordered through TAF, not the ticket office, were shipped separately. WW&L sends those in separate shipments to the TO.

I hope so, but my shipment had TAF passes in it...just not all of them...

I actually like the way they are this year, without all the other crap that usually comes with them. Just a spiral notebook of tickets with the fan guide.

Mine had the ticket office address on it as the origin, but when you look at the tracking, it shows they came from Fort Smith, AR.

Got mine this morning. The door bell rang and the tickets were left at the threshold of my door and the driver was taking off. I wonder what would happen if some kids saw that not knowing what it was and picked them up and we were not home? No e-mail and leaving them like that should not be allowed. Hell it would be the drivers word against no-body that he left them there.
So if you are still waiting, stay home from work, the doctor and any emergencies if you want to protect your investment and be there to get your tickets. No one else gives a crap.
