Fournette will be better but he isn't as confident as Magee is, yet. Magee hit the holes with full speed and absolute certainty. He is clearly comfortable with the plays.

A lot of posters here seem to thnk that Fournette wears down opponents for Magee. I disagree. Chasing a guy, who is ten to twenty yards down the field is a more effective way of wearing a D down.

Earlier in the season, you were probably saying he was the 4th best option.

I'm glad you started following the Tigers these last two weeks. I wish you would have watched the first 6 games.

Every game everyone changes their opinion on who is the best RB this year.

Fournette didnt have it last night, he's not the player we all thought he would be, bottom line (not saying he is bad, but he hasnt lived up to the #1 player in the country billing)...but to keep changing opinions on who is the best RB week to week is asinine.

In different weeks different RBs will have the hot hand, just the way we've ALWAYS been.

so LF wears down the d line in the first half then magee comes in and runs through holes big enough to fit a mac truck and all of a sudden he's our "best option". gotcha.

I'm honestly becoming more certain that some of you watch tennis religiously only to accidentally post your thoughts about football on the rant from time-to-time.

I don't agree with the original poster, but LF didn't wear down the D. He only had 15 carries for the game. Magee came in during our 2nd possession and had consecutive runs of 11, 2 and 4 (Fournette had on 5 carries for 13 yards at that point).

Magee played great last night (was good against UF too). Fournette has been better the rest of the year running the ball.

Well you're incorrect, just like everyone who has replied thus far. Magee hits the hole with more certainty and speed. Fournette has more talent but its not his time yet. He's still good, though

The hot back is the best option. We have 4 viable options at RB and we should go with the one that is playing the best that night. Verse Florida it was LF, vs Kentucky it was Magee.

Your title should state that Magee is our best overall back, he does everything well. Which is why he'll get drafted just like Blue did. Though I still think Fournette should get the majority of carries

I agree that Magee hit the hole quicker last night. Not saying he's bettter, but he was more effective yesterday by any measurement of RBs that I've ever seen.

Both rbs played in the first and second half, idiot. Secondly, the offnsive line wears down dlinemen, not a guy jogging into their arms. Jeez
