Maason Smith will be the best defensive player in all the country the next 2-3 years.

Everytime he is out there he gets pressure.
He needs to stop getting pulled as a rotation. He is the best we got now.

Overall I am very pleased with the Dline. Gaye, Anthony, Ojulari, Smith, and Roy, and even Little are very good and will be great in future years.

I also thought Jacobian Guillory had a real good game last night.

I like the way they are using him. The knock on him in camp was that he was losing his gap against the run. On pass downs he can just go get after that arse and not have to worry about his run keys.

That McNeese team was like a high school team on offense. I want to see him and the others produce against SEC lines obviously, but I agree they look really good when they get after it.

Last night was comical watching them blow every play up

Because he pushed around a 1 star offensive linemen?

We all know he’s a talented player, we knew it when he was being recruited, but slow down on best in the county for 3 years. Where was this thread last week against UCLA?

it was the 2nd game of the season. they're still getting into game shape. secondly, don't you want him to be fresh in the 4th quarter. the rotation was fine. smith isn't the only talented lineman, just the most talented.

That's what we said about Stingley two years ago.

To be fair, our pass rush was one of the few bright spots against UCLA.

You think Stingley is the best defensive player in the country right now?

Coaches should have figured the defense out sooner and been better prepared for an opener. We will see what happens when SEC play opens up. That will tell the story if it’s improved enough.

If you watched the UCLA-LSU game whenever he was in he did the same damn thing. They pulled him early for whatever reason.

He and Bech do not look like true freshmen.
