This is what drives me nuts.. I get it...Les gets a chubby running the ball...fine! But why not run out of some different formations MORE OFTEN?

Dear Bo

You should be proud.
I am doing it the way you always did it.

Teams with fewer passing attempts than LSU.

Navy
Georgia Tech
Minnesota
Army
Boston College
New Mexico

Georgia Southern

I haven't watched all these teams this year but traditionally they run schemes that have some deception with the play calling. These offenses force you to prepare specifically to defend them.

Our scheme isn't based on anything remotely creative. It's based on trying to out physical the other team. And in cases like Saturday night it worked like a charm. When you play teams less physical and you play solid defense, sp teams and don't turn the ball over. I get it.

The formula worked great in 2011 in almost all of our games. We know which ones it didn't work so well in. And that year LSU's defense was all world and also had a heisman trophy finalist bailing us out in the games we were stuck in 2nd gear.

I personally don't give a shite what we run as long as it works. Even with the youth at QB this offense has looked pretty bad. What did the QB's work on all spring, summer, and every week during practice? Because it just seems like there isn't much they can do well. Why is this? Are they really just not talented? I refuse to be believe these guys are this bad even considering the inexperience.

Boston College has a really high-quality running quarterback. It's not that they can't pass, but if people are covered, he can run for first downs all day against most opponents. Maybe we should have found him first.

LSU has run for at least 47 times in all their wins (several over 50) and 38 times in both losses.

When you punt or the drive ends for some other reason, they don't let you keep running offensive plays.

Also, had we not had to pass to try to come back, the play calling would have been different.

is this gonna be another one of those times where you say a bunch of dumb shite thats totally wrong and then just pretend like like you didnt while you say some more dumb shite? like when you started a thread for why we'd lose to Florida, then one day later said they were a "bad team" all along.

hows your Harris will never start, 6-6 prediction coming by the way? dumbass.

You have to way too much time on your hands.

1. Florida is a bad team and we were one dropped pass from losing to them.

2. My options were 6-6 or 5-7. I chose 6-6 because I'm a sunshine pumper.

Boston College has a really high-quality running quarterback.

BC's quarterback is Tyler Murphy, Florida's third stringer from last year. He transferred out in spring because he couldn't beat out Driskel. (he was originally from New England, hence BC).

Murphy currently has 750 rushing yards to Driskel's 150; plus Murphy has a higher QB rating.

id be willing to bet we see some transfers at wideout, and one highly touted in state HS receiver looking to leave the state. Maybe even Harris leaves at some point. There is no excuse for LSU to be so defecient in the passing game with the talent we bring in.
