They played decent that half not great.
Fact is, Missouri was a good half of defense followed by decent play vs really, really bad offenses.
Sure the defense has “improved” but until they show up against a good team and prove it, they are nothing but a liability, hopefully one the offense can overcome.

Gave up almost 40 to Mizzou
Auburn is 98th in offense
Army is 109th in offense
Maybe the last 2 games against dog shot offenses gave them the confidence boost they needed to get a critical stop or two to win

LSU will need a minimum of 3 major impact turnovers by bama and a very dynamic ball control/ eat the clock while scoring to even keep the game close and possibly steal a win like last year. Losing 4 starters on defense is just too much for offense to overcome .
