Mitchell-Blake enjoyed one of the most impressive individual performances ever seen by an LSU athlete at the SEC Outdoor Championships as he not only anchored the team to a meet-record time of 38.33 seconds in the men’s 4x100-meter relay, but he also came back to win the sprint double with a time of 10.16 in the 100 meters and eye-popping 19.95 in the 200 meters. That performance earned Mitchell-Blake the SEC Commissioners Trophy as the leading men’s point scorer for the championship with 22.5 points to his credit on the final day of the meet.

He became the first Tiger since the great Richard Thompson in 2008 to win three SEC Outdoor gold medals as Thompson also swept 100-meter and 200-meter titles along with winning the 4x100-meter relay during his senior season.

He is british and came within .01 of breaking the british national record.

The men have some very consistent scorers and young scorers at that. They should finish top 5 at nationals fairly easy, maybe even win it all next season

Would've gotten him 5th at the London Olympic Games.

Dajour Braxton, a freshman went 14:26.52 in the 5000 and placed just out of the points in 10th. But that is a solid time and considering he is a frosh, a great time. And that is the best finish in the 5000 in quite a while for LSU. Our distance runners have been the suck for a long time.

Blair Henderson, a Junior, went 3:52.18 and placed 6th in the 1500. Really good run. He also went 1:47 in the 800 for 6th. So he scored 6 points total for the Tigers.

That's a great time for Dajour.. Blair's time is good too the 3:52 is around a 4:08 mile so that pretty impressive. Things are looking up for distance!
