Pretty unreal, wonder if they even have any single game tickets to sell. If only Nikki had this type of support KMM!

People bitch and moan about the facilities, or the traffic, or the atmosphere, or the concessions, but LSU fans show up for winners and especially big games.

I want the LSU women to win it all every year, but theres still zero chance I will watch a single game. That shite is boring as hell.

Have a question. Why does it say on twitter that single game tickets will go on sale later? Why not convert even more tickets to season tickets?

CKM said last mth, when this came up, that "they are trying to find more tickets for the students & possibly moving some seats around."

KM wants to hold some seats back for walkups. I think they were saving maybe 500 for that.

Shaver’s won more rings than anyone on staff but CKM. Give the ‘stache his due.

And we will still lose $5 million or more on that team this year.

I knew once Mulkey was hired the crowds would increase significantly.
I never imagined they would sell out on season tickets alone.

95% of D1 schools do lose money on their WBB teams. LSU is in the 5% that doesn't thanks to proper accounting due to conference TV revenue, ticket/concessions sales, athletic foundation donations, etc.
On top of that - the "free" marketing exposure more than covers the $5M on its own.

This forum REALLY needs an application/rating system on posters. Too many people have 0.0 idea what they're talking about when it comes to athletics, politics, & life in general.

About 9,000.

The Tigers have almost sold out the season ticket allotment for their national title defense. Just 750 tickets remained as of Wednesday, the team posted on X. More than 8,300 had been sold as of Sept. 13, up 56% from the previous season.

I was thinking the same thing. Why we have these guys, who clearly don't like women's basketball, but come on a thread about women's basketball, and then spout misinformation and nonsense, is beyond me. No, they will not "lose $5 million or more" when everything is considered. That just shows a clear misunderstanding of how this works. Thankfully, we have an AD who DOES understand and doesn't listen to the peanut gallery.
