Just a feeling I have. They will go into halftime up 24-3, and the second half is vanilla.

They are going to blow out Wisconsin. I'm thinking 45-20, 42-13. Something along those lines.

hopefully, "vanilla" as in cake, and not "vanilla" as in the offensive strategy that allowed State to get a last second, game deciding field goal attempt.

Not sure why people down vote this.

LSU very well may get out to a big lead in this game.

You're more confident than I am. I was expecting more of an LSU/North Carolina opener.

Not that I want it to go that way at all...

Nah it'll be 10-3 at half.

13-10 Final

Les loves keeping games interesting for the ratings

Our year goes as the second number goes...

Give me 28-10 type score over 45-21 any day

The second number, and Harris' completion percentage are all I'm looking at as far as my outlook on the rest of the season

Oh good because our offense sometimes sputters.

That will be 10 points more than LSU basketball will score in the first half of their first game.

so we'll win 24-23 after Les takes his foot off the gas after halftime. I've seen this show before.

I say this as a Miles supporter, I have no doubt that whatever happens in this game, it will still be in doubt into the fourth quarter. I remember a time when just beating a team like Wisconsin would have made people come on themselves. Now we have to be up by twenty at halftime, or the game's a disappointment.

I'm all good with that.

Is 2016 LSU going to be better than 2015 Alabama?

I believe 2016 Wisconsin will be better than 2015 Wisconsin. Primarily due to the health of our #1 rb and the development of the offensive line. You never know though with a new qb.

Last year in the opener in front of a pro Bama crowd it was 14-7 at half. Wisconsin missed a reasonable field goal going into the half as time expired that would have made it 14-10.

This game this year will be in front of a pro Badger crowd and Wisconsin will have a punchers chance at actually running the ball. Also the Badger D is strong in the front 7 vs the run game which should be LSU'S offensive focus. Wisconsin never gave up 24 for a whole game last season besides the Bama game.

I see LSU winning, but I don't see this being a Stanford Iowa first half.
