10. I figure another 9-3 season.

I'm not sure you know what "averages" or "minimum" means, but they don't go in a sentence together like that. Is "Miles averages a MAXIMUM of two losses a year" any different?

They should win 10 with their schedule....

Wisconsin
Sam Houston
ULM
Mississippi State
New Mexico State
Auburn
Florida
Kentucky
Ole Miss
Alabama
Arkansas
A&M

Alabama, Florida, Wisconsin, and Ole Miss should be competitive close games that could go either way. LSU should split that at the very least and win the rest of their games.

Less downfield passing, but more intermediate stuff

Who is throwing these passes and who is catching these passes... You can have a great running game all you want, but without an effective passing game the running game WILL suffer...........

Wrong....Ole Miss brings back a two year starter.

BUT...Bama won a NC with a redshirt soph...all is not lost. Play tough defense and run the ball and limit your mistakes....it is possible.

That's perfectly understandable given you don't know your arse from a hole in the ground when it comes to LSU football.

Huge plus for LSU.

Yep, defense and the RB position will determine success next year.

I've told people several times that McCarron wasn't a RS freshman or true freshman when he started and won. The dude was RS his freshman year, played about as much or a little more than Jennings his RS Fr year, and then he started after two years in the system. McCarron took time to mature enough and still played a game manager position as a RS Sophomore. The team around him (defense, OL, Run game), gave him a cushion his first year and finally he took control in his fourth year.

McElroy took a longer route to stardom, but ended up the same. RS his freshman year and threw a total of 20 times his next two years. Finally in his 4th year in the system, he played as a game manager behind, you guessed it, a stout OL, run game, and defense.

Like I said before 2500 yards, 14-20 TDs and limited turnovers is the only thing we need from our passer. If Mett was a little bit more the game manager, we only have two losses this year. A good defense, we're undefeated. So I still say 10-2 is the floor this year, as 9-3 has been since 2009, and every idiot predicting 7-5, 8-4 every year is talking out of their arse.
