Sounds about right, and maybe even 1-2 IP closer. Gilbert is incredibly versatile and provides a vet presence to the staff. IF you find the right BP guys, Gilbert would do very well in the rotation with Hess and Walker. At any rate, pitching staff should be a definite strength next season.

I think Gilbert will be great as a starter or a long reliever, for example, who could have done much better than he did on Sunday?
