Someone posted on here a while back, a topic asking how the Tigers or SEC team of choice would do against the bottom half of the NFL...

Well this morning, ESPN first take(first and 10 segment)asked what would the point spread be with USC vs the STL Rams...

So, what would your point spread be with LSU vs the Rams?

The Rams favored by 50, only because in garbage time they would lay off

STL by 100 over any college football team.

STL by 50 over a college all star team.

but, seeing as this was on ESPN, they'll say USC would be favord by 14 and LSU would be a 70 point dog. As everyone knows, ESPN hates LSU

The truth. I'm tired of hearing idiots saying they think a college football team can come anywhere close to competing with an NFL team. The fact is that a team made of college football all-stars would get mauled by any NFL team.

I agree with this. I hate the idiot that always make the Saints vs Tigers argument! :beatdeadhorse:

I'm not even a big fan of the NFL, but there's not much of an argument to be made. The NFL is the best of the best, where as not every college star even pans out...

you do realize they used to do just this back in the 70s and one year the college all-star team beat the Steelers?

Actually, for everyone curious what the two talk heads said...

The first guy said USC by 14.

Then of all people, Skip Bayless was the voice of reason saying the rams would destroy USC.

I just can't believe ESPN can deep throat like that, seriously someone could get hurt going down that hard.

I know that if Claude Wroten (former LSU d-lineman and lover of doobie) still had LSU eligibility left, he could not start on our current front four d-linemen at LSU....and he was a high draft pick for the Rams.

Haslett's defense vs. Crowton's offense....LSU has a chance.

Don't know about LSU this year but I'd pay money to see USC get thrashed by the Rams.

The Rams would drill an LSU/USC allstar squad.

Rams by 30+.
