Is this an LSU announcement or the speculation of some rumor-mongering radio host?

Isn't it possible that Ike will make landfall in Texas?

And so the game is being moved to...Texas?

I realize that Dallas is inland, but what about all of the refugees fleeing Houston and the coast?

I'll wait for an LSU announcement. A few days ago, WWL said the UNT game would be in the dome.

“We fully expect to play the North Texas game at Tiger Stadium, but we don’t want to leave anything to caution,” Vincent said. “We’ve had discussions about being fully prepared, but the bottom line is that we have to play this game.” from the link given

Remember his son plays for LSU and usually the players know about this stuff before anyone else. Sounds more like a contingency plan at this point though.

I think it would be cool to see the Tigers play in Texas Stadium. Couldn't hurt recruiting, either. Unless we happened to lose.

I agree with this. It would be premature to move the game at this time. Plans should be in place to move depending on Ike's path and the conditions in BR, but nothing final should be decided at this time.
