Cocky Talk

Some interesting talk

quote:

Leonard Fournette runs for 250+ & 4 TD's, Carolina surrenders 600 yards of total offense as LSU steamrolls us 45-13.

quote:

I think the game will remind me of that one game years ago where McFadden slaughtered us.

quote:

Fournette: 198 yards, 15 carries, 3 touchdowns

This was actually pretty funny:

quote:

I say we make a deal with LSU. We agree to play there instead of here, and they agree to play their third string players ONLY. AND Les isn't ever allowed to look at the game clock.

Our defense has given up 46 combined points to Syracuse (with a 3+ string QB) and Eastern Michigan. This would have been unheard of just a few years ago.

South Carolina will score.

I imagine the game will play out in a similar fashion to the Syracuse game - LSU won't be able to pull away, but the game will never be in doubt. Sloppy, undisciplined play is an inevitability.

LSU - 38
South Carolina - 27

I could argue that the aforementioned teams are better than the cocks, but I will allow it.

I don't disagree too much, but I'd like to think that eventually, we'd get our ducks in a row. Hopefully, this is the game.

This is what I expect as well, especially with all the added distractions leading up to this game. USCe will play with emotion, and Spurrier will probably have a trick or two up his sleeve. An upset would make their season.

LSU 27
USCe 21

I was ridiculed and downvoted when I guessed that LSU would beat EM by only about 20. Reality just isn't as much fun as always predicting blowouts I guess.

No. Games like that are always one special teams frick up away from a devastating loss that never should have happened.

We are very vulnerable here. This game is definitely in doubt.
