LSU v. Texas A&M (next year)

LSUsports.net has us playing A&M next year in Baton Rouge on Saturday. I thought we started an annual Thanksgiving day/night game vs. A&M?

We only play them on Thanksgiving Day when the game is in College Station.

Will not be on Thanksgiving when game is in Baton Rouge - Alleva already said LSU will not play on Thanksgiving at home.
I'm sure A&M will have it as their traditional Thanksgiving game in College Station.
It will either be on Fri or Sat depending on TV when in Baton Rouge

Past SEC/TV behavior makes the Fri 1:30 kickoff a probable lock....unless of course, bama decides they want the iron bowl on Fri. again....yeah right...LOL

In Baton Rouge it is on Saturday.
In College Station, it is on thanksgiving. So little brother can make big brother Texas jealous.

the game has changed since the sec network came into existence. i think arky vs mizzou will be fri and we'll be the sec or espn's sat night game.

How can Alleva guarantee the time slot on a Saturday? If CBS wants LSU/aTm over Bama/Aub, then we'll play at 2:30. CBS isn't going to ask permission.

Because the "iron bowl" would be the ONLY SEC game with a bigger "draw" and Saban/REC have already said they will NOT play on Fri. LSU vs. TAM is the next biggest ratings draw, Aleva apparently did NOT/could not "protect" Sat. nite return games for us, so......bank on LSU vs. TAM for the 1:30 Fri. after Thanksgiving slot !

I don't know, but A&M guaranteed a Thanksgiving Night game without asking permission from CBS.

CBS still owns the 1:30 Fri. slot. IF LSU did not get the Sat. nite "approval", what makes you think they take a ratings downer like arky/Mo ?????

The biggest mystery about the Fri. after Thanksgiving 1:30 time slot/participants is......WHY is the bama/au game "EXEMPT" ???????
