Nothing stands out too much if you watched the game. We had a bad scheme but executed it well. Four quarters of thud.

LSU offense can’t move the ball, giving the opposing offense more chances. More chance = more opportunities for points.

IMO the coaches took a "swing for the fences" mentality into the game - go for broke or go home broke. It manifested in the couple of overly- aggressive 4th down calls that we didn't make.
Couple that with the opening kick TO to be down immediately 7-0 and it turns into a rout.
You figure if you lose by 4 or by 40 it doesn't matter. But if you hit those aggressive plays, you probably win.
I have no problems with it and understand what happens when you push too hard and it backfires. It means nothing outside of 1 game and it's gameplan didn't work out.
Tip your hat to the opponent and move on.

O Line was dominated. D line not much better.
Daniels holds on to the ball too long.

Completely agree and said so before the game started. I was more so talking about Daniels taking shots downfield, but I said I’d rather lose by 40 trying to win than lose by 14 with no real chance, just trying to keep it close.

They had 2 more drives than us.

College football success is all about QB play. Enough said.

Read through it self explanatory

Running game was very bad. Passing game was ok but lacked any explosive plays. Poor success rate on 3rd and 4th down and poor red zone conversion percentage.
Basically, without explosive plays you need to put together drives with multiple 3rd/4th down conversions. We did not convert.
We did a good job of limiting UT explosive plays but they converted on 3rd/4th and in the red zone.

That's a fair breakdown and unfortunately that doesn't exactly inspire confidence
We approached the game like we couldn't compete

It was the polar opposite of Orgeron against bama on 2018
I think we could have waited until the second half to go crazy though

poor red zone conversion percentage.
That was also bad. 4 trips to the redzone. 2 TDs, one turnover on downs and 1 interception
