Yea their AD openly said in the sideline interview last Saturday that they’re trying hard to get bruins fans in the seats. His way of saying he knows LSU is going to take over the rose bowl.

Go look up OU UCLA from a few seasons ago. It’ll be like that.

Yep they are nearly Tulane like in their fan apathy....relatively speaking that is. No fan base is quite as apathetic as Tulane's.

If last week is any indication they aren’t very loud anyway.

Years ago I attended a USC v UCLA game with a solid out crowd. A very exciting comeback win by the Bruins. Compared to Tiger Stadium the crowd was not loud at all. Our 20k fans will probably be louder than their 80k fans.

Are we going to have 20,000 fans at the Rose Bowl? That would help.....a lot.

I would expect about double what the Hawaii attendance was. While the announced attendance was 32K, I was sitting in the stands and there probably wasn't more than about 15K in the actual seats. It was about 100 degrees at the game, and a ton of fans were sitting in the shade outside of the actual stadium, or in the covered beer garden if they could get in and watch the game on the TVa.

Good news for those worried about masks, it was as I expected, you needed the mask when walking around the concourse or when going through security, but at your seats you didn't need to wear one. I hardly saw any masks the entire day, including at the tailgate.

LA is full of shallow people who only show up when the teams are good. It’s not only like that in college sports it’s also this way in pro sports.

Ironically UT is this way in Austin. Their home games are a joke aside from when LSUs and USCs come to town.
