This has getting rid of the U of Texas home-and-home written all over it.

I've been looking forward to that Austin trip for a while and would be pretty butthurt if this turns into a Nola/Houston neutral site game.

Initially I was in favor, its closer for me and lets be honest its where our best players come from, but then I thought about having to hear this for two or three days from our BR fans:

"I had to drive an hour to the game"

"This tailgate place aint like the one me and diddy have at the Ag building"

"I had to pay two dollars and fifty cents for a Miller Lite"

Yeah just leave it in BR

That was amazing article. Verge Ausberry really puttin himself out there with info. like that.

Don't mind the New Orleans venue, reason to go with a group of friends to NO for a weekend. Easier trip than Houston, Dallas, or Atlanta.

The Superdome is just a awful place to watch a football game. The announcers echo is so annoying and you sit a mile from the field.

You may as well admit that this isn't going to happen. LSU gets amazing exposure and takes home a nice purse with these opening weekend neutral site games. We are one of a handful of teams that are constantly in a major game week one. There is no way the administration is going to pull the plug on it. Fans should accept it and realize the amazing positive impact these games have on the program.

Play a HR from TS? Dumb. Why can't we play Michigan Or OSU or USC or FSU somewhere? FSU in Jville Clemson in Charlotte. Michigan in Indy. OSU in Atl.

they've fixed the audio problem and you can always pay for better seats. Mile away? what is that terrace? who sits there

I love it people bitch no matter what. I go to NOLA a couple times a year for a long weekend. My small part of giving back to the state I love.

Tiger Stadium > Superdome no doubt. But that's only a 30 min drive as opposed to a
2 hour drive for me. And I've never seen LSU play in the dome before. So I'm in

But I do wish neutral site games were less frequent. I'd love to see us play some team like USC or Michigan/Michigan State at home and then play them at their stadium. Ann Arbor would be an awesome place to watch LSU play.

I don't understand why LSU-Wisconsin garners more money when played at Reliant and Lambeau, than it does at Tiger Stadium and Camp Randall.

Most people would rather be at Tiger Stadium and Camp Randall. Most people watching on tv would rather see Tiger Stadium and Camp Randall's atmosphere.

Why can't it be the chik-fil-a kickoff game from Camp Randall? I just don't understand why it has to be played at a neutral site for sponsors to give money.
