I am glad to see the Cajuns off to a good start. I love seeing their fan base pumped. At the start of the year - I was not excited to see ULL on the schedule. Now, with all the talk, I believe, LSU will be pumped and the crowd will support them. It is time for LSU to rise to the occasion!!

Much like Vanderbilt? A Team that is better than ULL and the fans were so supportive?
Chance of Rain tomorrow?
Half Empty Stadium?
TailGate all day to leave at Halftime?

I guess I am thinking more along the lines that the players will be focused - not just running through the emotions. They have to believe that they have a quality opponent and need to step up - better execution, avoiding mistakes. ULL present a great opportunity to loosen up and unleash LSU true potential. I see a lot more creativity and a defense bent on keeping the Cajuns out of the endzone for 4 qtrs.

Considering LSU is better athletes, better facilities, more depth, better coaching they better show they outclass, outperform, put up better numbers, look flawless, and win big. If not things will get ugly this season.

Say what you want about Washington/Vandy but ULL is not even close to their league as each of those teams would beat ULL by 15+. So LSU should realistically beat them by 30+ these use to be type of games LSU had their backups in by the start of third quarter.

Totally agree with you slacker. Just was thinking that if we had destroyed UW/Vandy then this could be a trap game of sorts. We definitely should beat them by "name our score." I just feel that LSU will be more than focused and ready to put some negranters back in a quiet space.

The day ULL becomes a trap game for LSU is the day Curley Hallman comes back to coach. It should never happen especially in my lifetime. Playing the Louisiana schools was a way to save money and help out these "lesser" schools by paying them to come here.
Let's not mistake ULL for a legit BCS team as they are still considered a rent a win.
