LSU Tigerband director Roy King put on administrative leave

King has been the athletic marching band director for five years, but he has worked in the band’s administration for 18 years. King’s attorney Jill Craft said in an interview that the decision was a “travesty.”
She said King is the target of a “witch hunt” led by LSU’s School of Music to try to control athletic funds that go toward the Tiger Band, Color Guard and Golden Girls, which are all under King’s watch.

Meh. I literally could not give 1/100th of a flying frick about the Band Director being put on administrative leave. Neither could anyone not associated with LSU or specifically the LSU band. Thus, no embarrassment on my end. I wish we'd fire Jones, but I'm not embarrassed to have graduated from LSU because we didn't.

I dunno, I guess it isn't jaw-dropping because I've lived in La. my whole life and being inept is a way of life here.
