I have just learned that Torinas mom has been battling health problems over the entire season. Between that and ficos situation, it could explain why we struggled at times and the unorthodox descisons that torina made

Just saw DD's video on Beth Torina praising Fico as her dad has serious health issues, as she broke down on camera. That could explain her possible reduced concentration toward the end of the season rather easily. Pretty sad.

I just got final word that no will be transferring to LSU for this upcoming season. In recent news, LSU has picked up a couple of commitments from very highly recruited players for the 2014 class. 2014's class is looking scarier and better after this past season, Beth has done an outstanding job of recruiting. One of our most recent commitments, had offers from OU, Michigan, Tennessee, Florida, Arizona State, Oregon, Texas A&M, and UCLA. And she picked us. Another thing I recently learned, out of all our players from our roster. Only 2 (TWO) players hit over .400 in high school. Bell and Andrews, and they are great hitters here at LSU. Its nice seeing the beth is not only picking up great pitchers, but outstanding hitters. The next class, everyone is hitting over .500 which is insane!!

Soon I will do a break down of this next class, quite a bit of people have asked me to do so. I will be analyzing each recruit and provide their strengths and how much of an impact they will have. I can assure everyone that everyone will be ecstatic about this class.

Maxpreps says she batted .688 this year with a .731 OBP. Needs to work on her walk rate. J/K

This past season has demonstrated Howard dobson ability to develop hitters. Its gonna be scary once we get Beth's players all who are great and deadly hitters. We have much to be excited about

Emily Griggs is the 2012 raph rhymes of softball, but better!! She'll develop more power as she grows throughout her senior year. Beth was Cali the other day, another 14 commit could happen soon....

You folks put to much concern into what these ladies hit in HS. Some kids parents do the books...
That said, it will be interesting next year. The shut down pitching isn't there as of now. I have a feeling sticks will prevail. That old saying "if you can hit, you will play" is probably going to be the mantra.
