I can't tell if this is a pro-Miles thread or anti-Miles thread?

Assuming the intent is to be pro-Miles, you kind of illustrate the detractors' point. He's only won the SECw 3 times in 11 years (only once in the last 8 years). Plus, he's had his two worst finishes over the last two years

Does it really have to be one way or the other? I guess on tRant it does!!

That's not true. You could be second, third, fourth.....Hell, you could even be fifth.

Well, I would assume there has to be some premise behind the thread other than just giving people information they already know.

I know, and since you brought up Saban, here are Bama's numbers:

1992 1
1993 2
1994 1
1995 3
1996 1
1997 6
1998 3
1999 1
2000 6
2001 3
2002 1
2003 5
2004 4
2005 3
2006 4
2007 5
2008 1
2009 1
2010 4
2011 2
2012 1
2013 2
2014 1
2015 1

Overall avg: 2.5
Saban avg: 2

Saban has the same average as he did at LSU. Bama's overall is 2.5 vs 3 for LSU. Not sure how significant it is. FWIW

1999 DiNardo_6 ******************
2000 Saban__2 ******

2002 Saban__4 ************
2003 Saban__1 ***

Now, for those who know what a regression line is, imagine one to indicate the trend. If you are Kirk Herbstreit, don't bother. You either are too political or dumb to digest this honestly.

Miles average last 4 years: 3.5

Very Dinardo-esque, and worse than the last 20 year average.
