Paying out even money on O 8.5.

I gotta like that play with this team. Obviously, there are four automatic wins in OOC play.

We are favored in every SEC game except Alabama and Ole Miss.

Mississippi State should be down this year even with Prescott coming back. We should be able to beat Florida at home and USCe on the road. That would call for us to go 2-3 against Bama, Ole Miss, Auburn, Arkansas and Texas A&M. The latter 3 of those games being in TS this year.

What does the Rant think?

I'm drinking the fricking kool-aid. I'm saying over. I think this team wins 10 games then makes it 11 with a bowl win setting up an epic 2016.

8.5 is right on the button for me. I can see 8 or 9 wins. 10 would surprise me, as would 7.

Although I think people are underestimating the amount of leadership lost from last year's team in Kwon, Rasco, Hunter, Magee, Hilliard, etc.

Kwon and Rasco hurt a lot but Hunter, Magee, and Hilliard are all replaceable on and off the field. We have a lot of young leaders and some coming-of-age juniors that will provide what we need in the locker room.

Considering Les Miles has only had less than 9 wins twice in 10 seasons I'm going to go with the over.

I'd like to get in on the over 8.5. 8-4 is a failure this year. I think they go 10-2 or better.

All depends on QB it can go either way. At worse 9 wins. and can go higher after that

A sensible O/U would be 9.5, but 96% of the people on here are sidewalk fans who were molested by CLM, so they have an axe to grind, so the O/U moves down an entire point.

Either way, over.

LSU has been under 8.5 only twice in the Les Miles era, and barely went under in both of those years. The over is free money.

What does off the field have to do with anything??????

This may be so.... But its ON THE FIELD leadership that will determine how far they go and how many wins they have.... I say 8.5 is about right. If they improve the play-calling and the QB position improves this team can get to 10 wins...... Everyone talks about skill position talent LSU has, That's fine but its hard to judge just how good the WR'S are based on the mediocre QB play was last year.. There were flashes of real good play but we need to be more consistant and TRY to get the opposing DC's to be weary of what we may come up with during games... Last year LSU'S offense was nothing to fear............

So you are saying we go 3-5 or 4-4 in SEC play?
