Yet our offense is garbage? Nobody is saying the play calling is good, but Les recruited the talent that achieves anyway. That still counts for something.

I was at the game, and the Texas Tech QB was simply amazing the way he made plays under pressure. If Les can recruit the way he is and get somebody in here to really fix our offense, we will be a good team.

Les has the offense that he wants. You can not separate Les from the offense, as they are one and the same. You want Les, you get the entire package, toss dives included.

LSU should be preseason #1 next year IMO....

LSU had nice balance and played pretty well, but Tech has an awful D. They gave up 60+ points three times this year (including one where they gave up 70). Still, it was nice to see LSU get some different guys involved and put up points.

I'm with you, man but sometimes there's no appeasing some so called fans.

"Keep your foot on the gas...." Which is what LSU did. We put up almost 60 on another team but some just have to find something to complain about. You can't help some people.

I don't understand it either.

I understand who we played and how bad their defense is but, our defense shut down the #2 offense in the country too. Something for some people to keep in mind.

I applaud Miles for putting Cameron on the sidelines. Excellent move instead of having him in some booth talking to Harris through a phone.

No, I didn't think every play call was good but overall, I thought LSU played tough, gritty and with a chip on their shoulder.

The coaches, all of them, and the players, all of them, have my respect. They all should be very proud.

A very good move IMO... Will help greatly next year if he is on the sideline every game......

Easy, man. I know how it is being a passionate fan but Boat's a good poster.

400 yards and 27 points is not "shutting down" anyone, but it's about as best as you can do vs Tech. I said before the game that I would be estatic if LSU held them to around 30 and around 400 yards which is what we did. That's in line with what West Virginia did.

I had LSU winning 45-31, but more than happy to see a wider margin.

Not against equal talent. His ineptitude as a coach puts us at a disadvantage against those teams.

We have a lot of talent coming back, but our passing game was one of the worst in the nation this year and unless that seriously changes, our offense will still have issues next year. There is a lot of potential there though as always.

On D, if Beckwith leaves, we're losing all of our LBs along with Jalen Mills. It's hard to replace all of your starting LBs at once in the SEC with teams like Bama and Arkansas on your schedule.

We need drastic improvements on special teams.

You're right. I meant exactly what you posted.

Just a poor way to phrase it on my part.

I find this statement to be very apt here, "You're never as good as you think you are, nor are you as bad as you think you are"

I enjoy self depreciating humor. People don't know how to laugh at themselves.

I was at the game and enjoyed tonight.

I'm glad you get me my fellow Fleetwood Mac fan.

Good call... I had 45-41. And was glad to see the constant pressure they put on with just a regular package on the field... Holding TTech to 27 after all the time they had to prepare is pretty good.... NOW this is all fine and dandy..BUT lets see what happens next November.....
