I need some help. We live in AL and my son has been exposed to some Auburn rap song which he thinks is pretty cool. Please, for the love of God, someone tell me the names of some LSU rap songs so that I can re-route his interests.
Signed,
A Mom who is trying to raise her son right.

Rap is shite. Have him listen to music where they play instruments and sing.

It's all subjective Jesuit. You don't like it. Others do. Opinions are like assholes, everybody got one.

take your son out back behind thewood shed and whoop the hell out of his arse, first for saying anything said about Auburn is cool, and secondly for listening to CRAP music.

He actually listens to many genres of music, rock being his favorite.

Lol. You pick your battles. Rap music - meh, I don't like it, but okay. Auburn songs - unacceptable!

Rap --

Egotistical = "I'm da bes, can't frick wit me"

Vulgar = "I'm da bes, can't frick wit me"

Disrepectful = "Bitches, hoes, and ****s"

Violent = "Pop a cap in dat azz"

No regard for human life = "Pop a cap in dat azz"

Non-productive member of society = "Cuz I be chunkin dem rocks, yo"

I know, I know. The above quips don't encapsulate all of the rap genre, only a mere 98% of it. Exactly what this young generation needs.

Yours truly,
Pimp

Talk about a terrible guess at a stat. Educate yourself before throwing out numbers and generalizing so much.

Much less than that. Mainstream radio doesn't make up much of actual hip hop / rap, and 'gangster' rap isn't around much anymore. Most underground rappers don't rap about that kind of stuff, and well, that's why they are underground -- they don't give into what the mainstream wants.
