I have heard from a few people that got their tickets that there is a note about a change to the portable seat policy? Can anyone confirm this, and if so what changes were made?

I searched the website and found nothing different. I tried calling and was on hold for half an hour before hanging up.

Any information would be appreciated. Also, if you have a link to the new information, if there is one, it would also be appreciated.

What about portable toilet seats? I have always brought one due to incontinence and terribly appalling bathroom conditions in the stadium.

Geaux Clear FAQS

quote:

Personal seatbacks will not be permitted inside the stadium. Seat cushions that are no larger than 16", do not have pockets or zipper pouches will be permitted. Fans will still be able to utilize LSU Seatbacks while inside Tiger Stadium. LSU Football season ticket holders can purchase a seatback for the entire season, while non-season ticket holders can rent a seatback the day of the game. For information about LSU Seatbacks, please visit LSU Seatbacks or call 1-866-895-1490. If you decide on the day of game, LSU seatback rentals are available at kiosks located throughout the stadium.

I bought two new seat cushions today. They aren't as nice as my old ones but they are rule compliant. Now I'll wait to see if the new rule is consistently enforced at all gaits to all stadiums.

Line the cushions with zip locks and fill with vodka and piss.

The only place that specific statement appears on the site is in the FAQ that states
quote:

Are seat cushions allowed to be carried into the venue?

Otherwise it is not mentioned at all and some pf the verbiage suggests that seat backs without arms may be acceptable. Don't know for sure. I suspect as long as it's not one of those 20 inch wide seats with arms and cupholders, they'll kind of look the other way.

Nothing more than a money grab to push more people to buy the $60 permanent seats IMO.

The Athletic Dept will spin it, but it's just more petty bull$hit.

I think it would be cool if they actually give the option to non season ticket holders to rent per game.

They do. Have you never seen the kiosk with the big arse container on seat backs?

I wish they would not charge you 60 for a worn out faded seat.

First year I paid 180 for my 3 seat backs. Got to my seats and 2 were fine but the 3rd one was in deplorable condition. Does anyone know of they will change them out?

Yeah and if they are broken then the person in front of you thinks they have a right to lean back into your knee. Last year, a person was upset about Miles and kept moving forwards and backwards into my bad knee. I had to tell him to stop... he got up and left

This policy wasn't enforced Saturday. There were personal chairs everywhere in my section.

Same...which kind of pissed me off. It wouldn't be an issue if people were bringing in seats like these, which are the right size for the seats in Tiger Stadium.

But...it's 2016 and the only person in the WHOLE WORLD that matters is ones' self, so assknuckles bring these things in...

forcing everyone on their row to be compressed because frick everyone else. You've literally got morons with these things slug over their shoulders like damn beach chairs and ushers just waiving them in...

Seriously...this has needed to end forever ago, and if they have the policy then they need to enforce it with a quickness.

Our book they sent with our tickets says nothing with a back or with arms.

I despise the permanent chairs, would like to bring mine like the Air Force chair mentioned above just don't want to argue then have to haul it back to the car.
