Early Doucet. September 2006. This is my most defining LSU memory after Katrina, displaced, I felt like God kind of said everything's gonna be alright with this gift. Then the Saints won maybe the gutsiest game of the Jim Haslett era the very next day with a last second FG in Carolina.

Arenas still must have nightmares about that dunk.

Bert Jones TD pass with 1sec on the clock against Ole Miss from the 10 YL. final score...LSU 17 - Ole Miss 16. The play came after a last 2 min 80 yd drive, getting off 2 plays in the last 4 sec of the game. The phrase when driving through MS, "set your clock back 1sec, you just entered the state of LA!"

That play created the lore of the Rustin Rifle...Bert Jones. Regardless of all these present day pass happy stats, Bert was the best QB ever to wear the purple and gold. He was a winner here and in the NFL.

Marcus Spears pick six to start the second half against OU in 2003 BCSNCG. Most underrated play in LSU history. I never hear anyone talk about it. That was huge in securing the victory that day and bringing a National Championship in football. At the time, I never thought I would ever see that in my lifetime.

Yeah Marcus Spears holds one of the Top 5 plays in LSU football history definitely.

Haha I know I just couldn't find this angle of the actual TD. Only the reverse angle from far away.

In CWS, 8th inning, behind all game to Stanford, Blair Barbier asked team "Do you believe?!" and went up and crushed a ball foul down the third base line. Next pitch he drilled it over the left field fence. He was dialed in. Witten hit his home run next to tie the game, right?

Nothing beats Warren Morris' celebration rounding first although the image of the Miami player face-down in the grass crying is a close second for me.
