If we win today, we will be the 2 seed. Kentucky would be the 3 seed.
If we lose today, we will be the 3 seed still if South Carolina loses. The 4 seed if South Carolina wins.

May have had something to do with Vandy losing.

A&M clinched the 1 seed just now with their win over Vandy. They hold the head-to-head tie-breaker with Kentucky.
1) Texas A&M
The winner of the LSU/Kentucky game will be the 2 seed. If we win, we'd hold the tie-breaker over Kentucky, thanks to our 2-0 record against the Wildcats.
If LSU were to lose and South Carolina were to lose, then LSU would be the 3 seed over Vanderbilt, thanks to our win in Nashville over the Commodores in January.
If LSU were to lose and South Carolina were to win, it would be a 3-way tie between LSU, South Carolina, and Vanderbilt. South Carolina has a 2-0 combined record against LSU and Vandy, so they would be the 3 seed. LSU holds the tie-breaker over Vandy (1-1 against tied teams), so we'd be the 4 seed.

For those that haven't given up on the season, cheer for South Carolina to beat Arkansas today, so LSU can be the 4 seed.
That way we draw aTm in the semis, instead of Kentucky.

Bump.
South Carolina is helping us out and blowing out Arkansas.
LSU will be the 4 seed. Vandy is the 5. Vandy will face the winner of the Tennessee/Auburn game, which is the only game of the opening night.

Go Vols/War Eagle. Vandy gonna be a tough out, especially at home
But if we get past them, I would much rather face A&M in the semis than UK

LSU won't beat Vandy on their home court. The Tigers only hope of getting to a second game is if Auburn takes out Tennessee and then upsets Vandy.

1) We already have.
2) We don't have to again.

LSU is hardly the same team now as it was in early January. They're playing with no confidence and no heart.

So we're officially 4th?

Yes. That should mean we play the second game of the day on Friday. Against Vandy or the Tennessee/Auburn winner. So Vandy.

How do you think LSU matches up against Vandy (assuming the obvious) on Friday?

Another win over Vandy would look good

Better than we match up against Kentucky, A&M, or South Carolina, I guess.
LSU should be able to rebound against Vandy. I say should, because our performance on the glass hasn't exactly been stellar lately.
But Vandy has 2-3 guys who can really shoot it from the outside, and then an all-conference player in Jones down low. We honestly should't be too successful on the defensive end.
Vandy is playing very well recently, too. I bet by game time we'll be about a 4 or 5-point underdog.
I don't think we win that game.

The bracket sets up as well as we could have hoped for. We only have to go on a 3 game win streak.
