Yeah, Gilbert will get the start, but Hess is our Friday night guy next year. Not to mention, his success early on in midweek starts is the reason he's in the pen, even though that doesn't make sense to some.

^ This. Hess is a stud, and most of us agree he is the Friday night guy for next season. If it comes to it, I'd give him the start. He give us a good shot, and win or lose it would give him some big game experience going forward.

Because beating OSU once is a possibility, but beating them twice will probably take some inspired innovation.
Hess just could be that rare jewel on LSU's roster that could establish himself as a 2018 Pre-season First team All-American on Saturday.
