The Southern Conference (SoCon) will serve as the event's sponsoring conference for the fourth straight year. In addition to Baylor, the field for the fourth annual Charleston Classic will include Georgia Tech (ACC), LSU (SEC), Saint Joseph's (Atlantic 10), Seton Hall (BIG EAST), Tulsa (Conference USA), Virginia Commonwealth (CAA) and Western Kentucky (Sun Belt). Five of the eight teams reached the 2010 postseason - Baylor and Georgia Tech played in the NCAA Tournament, while Seton Hall and Tulsa earned National Invitation Tournament berths. Virginia Commonwealth won the College Basketball Invitational.

This year will likely have some rough spots, but LSU will be very battle tested and poised to make a run in 2011!

This is a big tournament.

North Carolina State, Georgetown, George Mason, and Wofford were among the teams in last week's tournament, and the final between NC State and Georgetown drew over 4,600 fans on a Sunday night.

Yeah this is a good tournament to be in. Adding Hamilton and O'Bryant will be huge.

I'm really ready to have Harris back on this team, I don't think he's going to make all the difference in the world but I think he'll be able to use his length to really help us out on both sides and be a positive impact.

We have shooters we just need to get confidence out there. This isn't the type of team that I expect to shoot 35% from the field. Hoping that can change over the next month.
