LSU Helmet: Authentic or Replica? Updated with more pics.

A friend picked up a helmet at a flea market. How can I tell if its authentic or a replica? Do you need a pic?

based on your post i must say, it is most definitely a replica. see where it has a blank where there would normally be a picture?

I vote for replica not game used based on pics?.. They don't have a danger sticker on the real helmets

I got no clue, but I will say this.....
Even though I'm obviously biased, LSU's uniforms are the coolest looking in college football.

They certainly do have those. It looks to be from either the 06/07 season or the 07/08 season. From a BCS game which was either vs ND or OSU. Looks pretty real to me.

if it's real, it's either from Trindon Holliday or Josh Graham. Looks pretty real to me. No one would know the difference unless they are an expert. So call it a real one.

It looks legit but that number on the back isn't the normal "font" the AD uses and that chin strap looks really generic.
Good looking helmet nonetheless. I would've gotten it if I didn't already have a helmet.

Oh ok. It's still a good find. Like Geauxld Finger said, no one really would know anyway unless they're an expert, I'd call it the real thing.

It is a replica. The stickers aren't applied with the precision that the real helmets require. The purple and with stripes should not have any visible yellow between them and should go under the tigers emblem near the face mask. Also they do have danger stickers but the left edge of the louisiana flag would be perfectly lined up with the inside of the D on danger.

I think it might be real. On most replica's, the danger sticker is white, not clear like this one.
