I blame Athletics for this. You know, I don't mind you wanting to charge $100/gm for SEC games.

Don't screw me though in the back seat with these other crappy games. You know, I understand LSU is a big school and it might be difficult to schedule decent schools to come here without a home/away but come on...this is pathetic...

Towson, Idaho and North Texas...seriously...that's the best you could do?
Paying $100 per game for those shitty games is what allows us to double Frank's salary over the next couple of years, to host multiple big recruiting weekends in the offseason, to operate an unbelievable practice facility, and to do many of the other things that make LSU one of the best programs in the nation. If you want to pay less for mediocrity, buy Mississippi State tickets.

Another way to look at it is this: while the crappy early games may cost $100, but only be subjectively valued at about $20...the Bama game only costs that same $100 but it's probably subjectively valued at $500+. So in the aggregate it more or less evens out over the season.

It's probably from all the people bitching about tickets going on sell 2 weeks before the season and then receiving the first games tickets like the night before the game, I know I sent some dirty emails about it because the week of the NSU game last season I still didn't have my tickets and I had family coming in that weekend for the game.

There's no reason why you can't get your tickets earlier when season ticket holder applications are due in March, so I commend them for getting on the horse and getting things done.

Don't sleep on Towson. I think Michael Dyer enlisted there.

There is absolutely no excuse for Towson being on there, if you're going to play 1AA, play a national contender or a Louisiana school, Towson was one of the worst 1AA programs before finally making the playoffs last season.

yeah , can't wait to sit up in vertigo land to watch the ants marching vs Towson State an' idaho, an North Texass

Been a few years since I sat up there and never intend to do it again in this lifetime. Last time I was up there, I got the impression that I had pissed off some bird by sitting in the place he normally shits on every night. Bastard wasn't giving any ground on the issue. Would have killed his arse to get him out of the way but there were kids around, so we put up with each other. Thank God I got my tickets back in the lower bowl.
