Auburn had a real argument for not being in the title game. Your, UGA Bulldogs, however, did not. The biggest joke in the history of the BCS was letting Nebraska have a shot and get killed. OU in 2003 and the mythical split title just drove it home further. Even if it isn't an official rule, a team that doesn't win their conference will NEVER play for a title again. BOOK IT. Just look at it this way, your team didn't take care of business in 07 and weren't as fortunate as we were. You had your destiny in your own hands, as we did, and did close the deal. You then lose the right to complain when the stars don't align just perfectly for you. Despite all of this, you had the #1 ranking and everything set up for you last year. It's not our fault your beloved Bulldogs were almost as bad as we were (it was only a 14 point win, even though you scored a ton) and you choked you chance to be the top dog away.

Here's a big difference for this season. LSU actually made moves to fix its defensive issues, and while still a work in progress, they are starting to bear fruit. What did Mark Richt do for UGA in the offseason? I hope you guys enjoy being stuck in neutral on D for another season.
