Based on what??? You ride the horse that brung ya. Hill was tearing apart the Ole Miss D. Hill leaves and Mett tries to force passes he shouldn't. You and I must NOT watched the same game.

See my post above.

Hilliard 5.3 ypc
Magee 5.7 ypc

Oh and Hill 4.0 ypc.

And just saying that having Hill out forced Mett into throwing poor passes into double coverage makes you a special kind of dumb.

LSU was moving the ball no matter who got the carries. Three turnovers later and we are shutout in the first half.

But yeah, I didn't watch the game.

I believe so many LSU running backs do so good in the NFL is because their legs are not used up in college. You won't win the Heisman at LSU at running back, but you are better off in the long run.

What a dumbass. Yes Mett made mistakes. BUT With Hill in the game gives us a different type of attack mode because of his ability to break a big run. The D will play a different coverage and style with Hill in the game. IF you think in the Ole Miss game that with Hill in there would have NOT made a difference, then YOU are a HILL hater.

So Ole Miss doesn't double our two top receivers with Hill in the game? Jesus Peej, that was their game plan all along. Our passing game wasn't any more potent with Hill in the game. Mett was off, period.

Let's get one thing straight. I think Jeremy Hill is better than Hilliard AND Magee. But you said benching Hill cost us the game. FACT. I called you out on it. And the stats back me up.

I take it back. You aren't dumb. But you are incredibly dense.

Wow how long have YOU been watching football???? You have NO clue what I am talking about because YOU have ZERO clue about the game [within the game]. Yes Mett was off that night. But if Hill keeps getting the ball and something great happens because of him, Mett doesn't have to try to make things happen by himself. he was FORCING those passes. GEEZ..........

Keep insulting me Peej without reading what I'm saying.

When Hill was out Magee and Hilliard were getting more than 5 yards per carry and we were pounding the ball and moving the chains. You talk like these guys can't bust off a 40-50 yard TD run (which both of them have this year).
Then we threw 3 pics.

Wanna change your answer again? Or just go with I don't know shite about football?

ETA: a lot of IFS in all that FACT.

Ok then why didn't they???? You are missing the point. Miles taking Hill out of the game because of him fumbling was just plain stupid. YES it changed the gameplan. I know that Hilliard and Magee were doing ok, BUT NOT having your BIG HORSE in a game THAT important was a factor. If you don't want to see this, then that is you.

I've tried to stay away from the rant since ole miss, so maybe this has been brought up.

Those int's were all on mett and his vanity. His last comments from the Fla game were his downfall. Insteadof letting the flow of ole miss' d dictate his game (which should have been more to the middle of the field on check downs to the rb's or TE's) he went for the big gain in double coverage.

He had been doing so well earlier in the season that I'm sure he felt he could make the big play. The first half of townsen, he showed some of the same.

Once he gets that the big play is not always the best play, he will be unstoppable.

for the record, it's real difficult to have your opinion taken seriously when you don't know the names of the opponents.

Well I actually agree with this last post, Peej. Except I didn't see the gameplan change considerably til the second half.

But when you say we lost to Ole Miss cuz Hill was on the bench--FACT--It's hard to take you seriously.

Hill really wasn't "taken out", Hilliard just had more carries than in previous games. Hill still had 6 carries for 31 yards in the first half after the fumble, and had carries on 2 of the 3 drives where Mett threw picks...the other pick was on the first play of the drive.

What story are you looking for? Numbers don't lie. Not sure why you're hating on Mett
He's hating on Mett caus he's not a "Dual Threat" QB that can run real fast.

I'll take the Mettenberger's, McCarron's and Brees's anytime and anywhere. I'm sure the RB's, WR's and TE's will as well, because everytime the QB runs with the football, the ball is NOT in any of their hands.
