By far the best athletic season of all sports for us this year. Losing three All Americans and relying on four true freshman and two true sophomores was somewhat of a concern, but after a turning point in the middle of this season, they never looked back.

Finnegan became one of the best in the country on beam and uneven bars.

Kelley had an amazing season, having one of the best floor routines in the country. Was nice to see her mom there and very proud.

Cannamela, to me was the MVP in disguise. After falling on beam yesterday. Had the routine of her life and managed a 9.85 which is outstanding with the harshness of the judges. Then she gives the team huge momentum and swagger starting out with a perfect vault opening.

Gnat made an amazing strides this season. Compared to last, she looks like an entirely different gymnast. Her vaults are bigger and better than ever. Her floor routine is definitely a fan favorite, she has a lot of personality.

First huge appreciation to DD and this staff. DD changed her demeanor this season and did things a little different then she has ever done and it paid off. We competed in the super six with a lot of fight and confidence. We overcame beam with an incredible performance.

This team reached what no one thought was possible and I personally think this is just the beginning to something even more special with this program. To finish top 3 would be an amazing accomplishment but I couldn't be more proud of this 2nd place finish.

Thank you to the three seniors for helping this program reach its two best finishes in program history. While their chapter closes, a brighter one is about to open.

We have a pretty special class coming in next season. Signing Kennedi Edney, Ruby Harrold, and Ashlyn Kirby.

Rubby Harrold will make an immediate impact on this team. She is a favorite to represent her country in the Olympics.

Kennedi Endey- A highly recruited gymnast, who picked us over UCLA, OU, and Alabama. Will be a favorite here. She will make an instant impact as well. Her vaulting will be among the best in the SEC next season. Her vault start value will be a ten.

Ashlyn Kirby is a solid gymnast who is pretty good on beam.

We will return practically everyone minus Savona and Wyrick, so we should be even better next season. Much more depth and development, with little to no holes.

Projected on vault:
1. Cannamela
2. Ewing
3. Edney
4. Finnegan
5. Hambrick
6. Gnat

Projected on Bars:
1. Cannamela/Edney
2. Hambrick
3. Harrold
4. Priessman
5. Finnegan
6. Zamardi

Projected Beam:
1. Macadaeg
2. Hambrick
3. Cannamela/whoever wins this postion (Edney/Kelly/Priessman)
4. Ewing
5. Finnegan
6. Gnat

Projected Floor:
1. Ewing
2. Hambrick
3. Priessman
4. Edney
5. Kelley
6. Gnat

Its really exciting just seeing that lineup. There really is no weakness virtually. Bars should be improved greatly, and beam we return every starter there. Vaulting and Floor will be as strong as ever next year.
Hope everyone goes and buys season tickets next year.

While she doesn't have a championship, no one can deny what she has accomplished in this sport and who she is as a person. DD is a very special person and LSU could not do better

No doubt OU's floor scores were completely inflated. They had not a lot of difficulty and had control issues, yet they all kept getting the equivalent and better to LSU's outstanding floor performances, which we exceed more difficulty then anyone in the country.

OU in reality should have been low 197.500/197.400's arguably even lower then that. Some of their beam scores were pretty questionable. A lot of coaches there took noticed, and some were not very happy.

With four Frosh and two Soph, is it not out of the realm of possibility that LSU is the favorite going into the next two seasons?

We will be very good the next couple of seasons. I do not know much about the class after this one,
which has Reagan Campbell, Bridget Dean, and Gracen Standley. Don't know much about any of them.

We do have a junior national team member commited in Christina Desiderio. She is a phenomenal talent.

There likely is going to be a splash or two before signing days. Its unfortunate but now you have to recruit right as they hit HS in order to build relationships and to win these prized recruits. Clark recently submitted a proposal to colleges not having any sort of contact until their junior year. Whats bad about this in the gymnastic world is that you have to worry about these gymnast development, their bodies specifically, who they train for, there are a lot of factors.

2nd place is s damn strong place. I'm so proud of them. No one was beating Oklahoma so we basically won the super 6 in my opinion

Was able to make it to two meets this year. Wish I could have made more but will definitely get season tickets for the upcoming season now that my family and I are back from Montana.

I think listening to D.D. last night on SEC Now was the best part of the meet. She could have been disappointed about not winning the championship, but she talked about how amazing it is to be around a sport 39 years and see the growth of the sport as a whole. She had tears in her eyes talking about her team and the sport of gymnastics. Next year, she needs a championship, SEC or Natty, even both!

This was by far her best coaching job.

Could have been easy for this team to roll over early and say this is a rebuilding year.

We saw tremendous strides made by Myia Hambrick.

Erin Macadaeg was a nice surprise. Other than the first meet, she has been great all year.

That was a beautiful moment after she nailed that beam routine. The team went nuts. DD's eyes were watering up with how hard this team fought. I think this is one of her favorite teams. They seem to have that IT factor and cohesion that is very special.
